Kellen still loves his kitty, Jasmine. And it is quite apparent that she is rather fond of him as well (as long as he doesn't pinch or tackle her!.)

Almost There

Kellen is now sitting up all on his own beautifully. He does not need me there, hand hovered just a few inches from his back in case he falls. He is very steady and can even sit by himself in the bathtub. He is also really trying to crawl, especially if he sees something he wants that is out of his reach. Here are some photos of his crawling progress (and a few sitting).

Beach Vacation 2009!

Here is album # 1 from Kellen's first beach vacation. We had a wonderful time; Kellen did awesome! He loved the ocean, the waves, the sand, the breeze, the pool...everything! We celebrated Kellen's 8 month birthday on August 4th with a pool playdate with baby Kazie (and her parents) and then out to dinner at Sharky's by the waterway. Delicious and such a fun time! He also had his first taste of a 'table' food, puffs. The little apple-strawberry puffs that dissolve. I split them in half even though they dissolve, he seems to really like them. We were at the beach for a full week, I can't wait to take him back next year (or sooner)! We are so lucky to have such a good traveler!
